I'd been training for a few weeks to get ready for it, but the races didn't go the best. I had a terrible start in the 1500m (usually my best race) and I rolled my ankle - Ouch! But I kept going and finished a dissapointing 19th. *sigh* The 400m was better though, and I finished a close 5th. I tied for 3rd with Gratia in Shotput. And the rest of the time was spent watching the races and getting terribly sunburnt...
Katherine and me @ athleticsWe had to dress in house colours - Cook (red), Youngman (yellow), Darby (green), and Bradock (blue) - hence the red stripes. (Cook won, by the way - cause we have the best house ever!! lol)
I later regreted the stripes, because I got terribly sunburnt, and ended up with a bright red face with two WHITE stripes... not a pretty sight!! lol :)
Anyway, thats about all in Athletics for 2008!
